As the weather changes, the ET Manager receives updates automatically every hour from ExactET and only allows the controller to water when needed. The result: significant water savings, deeper root systems, and a healthier landscape.

How ET Manager Works

Is an add-on to any existing irrigation controller, preventing watering (via a common interrupt) until moisture loss in the landscape reaches a predetermined amount (i.e. acts much like the fuel warning light to your gas tank). ET Manager calculates moisture loss based upon:

  • Hourly Rain and ET data received wirelessly from ExactET’s local weather network.
  • Site specific information (eg. slope, plant type, root depth, soil type, sprinkler system) programmed into ET Manager.
